Tunable terahertz generation in the picosecond regime from the stimulated polariton scattering in a LiNbO 3 crystal

摘要: We demonstrate narrowband tunable terahertz generation from a picosecond LiNbO3 polariton laser, pumped by CW mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser. generated up to 5.4 μW of output in untuned mode. tuned the output, using etalons cavity, 0.51 2.12 THz. Terahertz powers 3.7 and 2.4 were achieved at frequencies 1.6 THz 0.9 THz, respectively.
