摘要: In this work, an analytical solution for the pressure-driven flow of a discontinuous shear-thickening (DST) fluid in planar channel is presented. order to model rheology, regularized inverse-biviscous adopted. This involves region finite thickness sharp jump viscosity, and it consistent with momentum conservation. limit vanishing thickness, truly DST behavior obtained. Analytical results are validated by numerical simulations under steady start-up using smoothed particle hydrodynamics method. Flow investigated discussed different values parameters.
