摘要: Thyroid gland is one of the endocrine glands in human body which produces thyroid hormone. This actively two kinds hormone, namely thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). These hormones aim to produce protein, govern metabolism, as well control temperature circulation. Either excess or lack these will disturb those activities. The condition excessive called hyperthyroid while lacking hypothyroid. major factor that influences volume produced T3 T4 iodine, because it main building-block substance hormones. imbalance this prevents work properly. To identify type (normal, hypothyroid, hyperthyroid), WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) machine learning software utilized. dataset taken from UCI (University California - Irvine) repository many 215 instances. test result shows among six different methods available WEKA, MLP (Multilayer Perceptron) method gives with highest accuracy, up 96.74%, BPA (Back Propagation Algorithm) lowest 69.77%.
