摘要: Abstract The characteristics of a severe squall line are examined using data acquired from the 1981 Cooperative Convective Precipitation Experiment (CCOPE). case is unusual in that was decoupled an immediate, surface-based inflow source due to mesoβ-scale (20–200 km) outflow pool produced by separate mesoscale convective system. Both systems participated development complex which subsequently sustained, surface winds throughout its entire life cycle. Despite absolutely stable, presquall atmospheric boundary layer, radar reflectivity values 70 dBZ and storm-induced 30 m s−1. Aircraft soundings environment suggest storm sustained elevated layer high-valued θc air overriding cold dome developing MCC. strongest were located upshear consisted northerly (alongline) component.
