摘要: Between September, 1945, and June, 1957, four hundred thirty-one patients with hyperthyroidism were treated radioiodine at the University of California Medical Center. Although other large series radioiodine-treated have been recorded, 1-3 certain features regarding patient selection, duration follow-up initial group patients, incidence time hypothyroidism, effect on exophthalmos suggested present analysis. All in whom definitive therapy was initiated between are included this study. first nodular goiter not treated, after November, 1948, these accepted if a reasonably strong contraindication to thyroidectomy present.
