摘要: Abstract Skin diseases are the fourth leading non-fatal skin conditions that act as a burden and affect world economy globally. This condition affects quality of patient's life has pronounced impact on both their physical mental state. Treatment these with conventional approaches shows lack efficacy, long treatment duration, recurrence conditions, systemic side effects, etc., due to improper drug delivery. However, pitfalls can be overcome applications nanomedicine-based provide efficient site-specific delivery at target site. These strategies evolved potential opportunities in form nanocarriers such polymeric lipidic nanocarriers, nanoemulsions along emerging others viz. carbon nanotubes for dermatological treatment. The current review focuses challenges faced by existing treatments topical therapeutic perspective treating various diseases. A total 213 articles have been reviewed application different explained detail through case studies previously published research works. toxicity related aspects also discussed.
