摘要: Abstract The efficient planning of a Petersen-type mark and recapture experiment requires some knowledge the order magnitude population size N. Sample sizes M C samples, respectively, may then be ascertained on basis guessed value N to achieve any desired degree accuracy with specified confidence. Restrictions sample are that MC must exceed 4 times N, total costs equal. Graphs formulas given defining attain preassigned levels precision estimation. A method choosing such experimental minimized is described.
