摘要: It is probably not an exaggeration to say that one of the central problems immunology is: how does a cell recognize antigen when it sees one? Burnet was first clearly importance recognition problem and also attempt offer solution (Burnet Fenner, 1949). His original indirect template theory, based on so-called units for self-markers, too much exercise in imagination gain wide acceptance. When he advanced his next “clonal selection theory” (Burnet, 1959), naturally encountered strong opposition by chemically oriented, then firmly entrenched, instructive theories. However, as progressed at ever increasing rate, more facts accumulated, which could be best explained terms clonal selection. The word “receptor” began appear literature.
