摘要: This article reviews the various theories of polymer crystallization which have been proposed over last thirty years. Their background in thermodynamics and crystal growth simple substances is laid out some detail. provides basis for a discussion application surface nucleation roughening concepts to crystallization. The widely used model Lauritzen Hoffman examined depth with emphasis on its consistency experimental evidence including recent modifications extensions. Alternative approaches are also analyzed, particular Point's ‘multipath’ ‘roughness/pinning’ by Sadler Gilmer, but ‘molecular nucleation’ ‘chain sliding’. aim this lead better understanding basic hypotheses models give guidance theorist improving as well experimentalist interpreting his/her data. It will hopefully make subject more accessible stimulate further research directed at resolving controversial issues.
