Gender Differences in Socioeconomic Status and Health: Evidence from the 2008 Vietnam Household Living Standard Survey

摘要: The study provides new evidence on gender differences in educational attainment, labor market status, health and land titling Vietnam. Up-to-date statistical household well-being Vietnam is particularly important given the heavy weight government has placed meeting needs of vulnerable members population, reducing overall poverty, improving societal well-being. Vietnam’s priority emphasis achieving equality 2006 Law Gender Equality. One major themes addressed this report demonstrated progress social development targets. also identifies a few areas where female outcomes lag those men, suggests policies that might help to reduce observed gaps.
