摘要: The Daye District represents one of the largest concentrations Cu–Fe–Au skarn deposits in China, with additional porphyry Cu–Mo deposits. These are closely associated late Mesozoic intrusions intermediate to felsic composition. Previous studies have yielded important age constraints for several deposits, timing and history metallogenesis entire district, however, remain not well understood. In this paper, we present twenty-five new ages (Re–Os, 40Ar/39Ar, U–Pb) better understand temporal framework district-wide polymetallic mineralization. ages, when combined existing data, indicate a prolonged mineralization lasting 25 million years from Jurassic early Cretaceous (157–132 Ma), that most ore district results multistage hydrothermal activity. Discrete episodes formation coincide emplacement granitoid within as revealed by recent zircon U–Pb dating. This consistency substantiates genetic relationship between intrusive magmatism. Prolonged episodic magmatic activities must played significant roles repeatedly supplying heat, fluids, metals. Previous demonstrated was dominated lithospheric extension during Cretaceous, extensive magmatism took place. Under extensional setting, area could experienced uplift or exhumation would brought early-stage shallower levels, bodies formed subsequent magmatic–hydrothermal events tending be localized at greater depth. turn indicates potentials find depth known especially those processes. view is partly confirmed success deep exploration beneath Tieshan Fe–Cu Tonglushan Cu–Au–Fe
