摘要: Control of polymeric structure is among the most important endeavors modern macromolecularscience. In particular, tailoring positioning and strength intermolecular forces within macromoleculesby synthetic methods thus gaining structural control over final materials has becomefeasible, resulting in field supramolecular polymer science. Besides other intermolecularforces, hydrogen bonds are unique enabling tuning material propertiesvia self-assembly processes a wide range interaction ranging from several kJ mol−1to tens mol−1. The present review provides anoverview hydrogen-bonded polymers, with focus directed towards type bondas well as their effect on final, ordered materials. Thus, ordering effects single-, double-,triple-, quadruple multiple discussed separately. Furthermore, various architecturesas use planar surfaces to assemble quasipolymeric structures arediscussed.
