摘要: To investigate the effect of heterogeneity on global dynamics two SIR epidemic models with general nonlinear incidence rate and infection delays, we formulate a multi-group model corresponding to in host population multi-stage heterogeneous stages infection. Under biologically motivated considerations, establish that for each is determined completely by basic reproduction number: if number less than or equal one, then disease-free equilibrium globally asymptotically stable disease dies out all groups stages; larger will persist stages, there unique endemic which stable. Then conclude does not change when function. Our results extend class previous can be applied other epidemiological models. The proofs main use Lyapunov functional graph-theoretic approach.
