摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence in Canadian nulligravid secondary school female teenage population. During University Toronto day 1996, visitors Obstetrics Gynecology Department booth were asked complete anonymous continence questionnaires, which thoroughly explained them completed during their visit. Out 332 forms, 69% by teenagers school. These students formed our urgency urinary (UUI) symptoms 17% stress (SUI) 15%. In all candidates these reported mild, occurring less than once a week. Occasional minor fecal (involuntary loss flatus or staining) 38%; these, 92% flatus. Major with loose bowel movements 3% Two girls (1%) nocturnal enuresis. Weight directly correlated SUI incontinence, but not UUI. Fecal (P = 0.0152), Ten per cent population sexually active, sexual activity did correlate problems. Voiding habits markedly variable: 30% infrequent voiders (three times fewer day). Nocturia 3%. We concluded that appears be most common type; urge slightly more SUI. Unlike UUI, prevalent affected weight. There problem high poor voiding habits.
