Astrophysical boost factor and dark matter indirect detection

摘要: The PAMELA [1], ATIC[2] and Fermi[3] collaborations have recently reported an excess in the cosmic ray positron electron fluxes. These lepton anomalies might be related to cold dark matter particles annihilating within a nearby sub-halo. We outline regions of parameter space for both sub-halo particle model, where data from different experiments are reproduced. then confront this interpretation with results cosmological N-body simulation Via Lactea 2. Having sizeable at distance only 1.2 kpc could explain excess, but such configuration has probability 0.37 percent. Reproducing also ATIC bump would require very large, sub-halo, which is extremely unlikely (p ~ 3 × 10−5). It even less probable smaller Fermi caused by presence object. In either case, we predict will detect gamma-ray emission conclude that under canonical assumptions, originate Dark Matter
