摘要: A system and method for displaying a desktop workspace of greater effective area than that the display screen using Non-uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) surface planes employing real-time texture mapping. 3D Desktop GUI based on NURBS allows user to Manage shortcut icons, files, hard disks in three-dimensional world having plurality objects provides enhanced navigational capabilities. In addition, seek an object or location NURB world, navigate throughout cursor inputs select follow links associated with object. When is selected from surface, file cabinet displayed showing contents Selecting document within filing displays preview page which also enables launch native application document.
