摘要: Vehicular Delay-Tolerant Networks emerge as a vehicular networks technology that can be deployed on wide range of scenarios. For example, it applied in sparse and remote regions characterised by connectivity to allow data communications, well urban Frequent network partitioning, intermittent connectivity, long propagation delays, high error rates short contact durations characterise these environments. To overcome some issues, cooperation approaches should considered force nodes share their own resources. It is important perform this task because may unwilling cooperate due selfish behaviour. Selfish affect considerably the functionality performance overall network. This paper overviews most relevant contributions for networks. also proposes four different strategies studies impact These are enforced two delay-tolerant routing protocols Epidemic Spray-and-Wait. Across all experiments, was shown contribute improvement increasing bundle delivery probability consequently decrease average delay. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
