摘要: An almost complete skull of a carnosaur from the Allen Formation (Maasqichtian Rio Negro Province) is described as holotype A belisaurus comahuensis. It high with broad interorbital roof, huge preorbital opening, squamosal nearly horizontal quadratojugal process ventraly directed, very wide infratemporal fenestra, long quadrate, orbital opening large closed orbita. The differences Tyrannosauridae and other Cretaceous carnosaurs families appear so significant to propose new family, Abelisauridae, likely gondwanic distribution. ·
