摘要: This paper identifies the varieties and dynamics of service economies in Europe, analysing role knowledge base innovative efforts their evolution across time countries. Results based on aggregated macroeconomic data indicate that there is no convergence trend towards a single economy model. Moreover, different models can be associated with institutional welfare state diversity. When comprehensive set indicators at disaggregated level more detailed pattern emerges. The structural composition countries plays prominent role, while heterogeneity driven by uneven bases efforts.
