摘要: The present study sought to determine the predictive role of interpersonal difficulties on eating psychopathology among competitive British athletes (ranging from university international competition level). A total 122 (36 males and 86 females) with a mean age 21.22 years (SD = 4.02), completed multisection questionnaire that measured psychopathology, attachment styles, quality relationships parents, coaches teammate over 6-month period. Partial correlations revealed when controlling for baseline only relationship coach closest were related athletes' 6 months later. Subsequent hierarchical multiple regression analyses demonstrated was predicted by perceived levels conflict coach. current findings provide evidence suggest within coach-athlete is potential risk factor disorders thus it would seem appropriate raise awareness its potentially toxic in psychopathology.
