摘要: Abstract Background . The use of pneumoperitoneum to treat prolonged air leaks or space problems, both, after pulmonary resection has been recently resurrected and used successfully. Methods During the last 3 years, 14 patients experienced short-term pleural problems associated with for lung cancer. All patients, under sedation local anesthesia, had a mean 2,100 mL injected diaphragm, using Veres needle time 7 days (range, 5 10 days) from operation. In talc slurry was added help control leak. Results No complications during induction pneumoperitoneum. complained dyspnea, although blood gas analysis showed slight increment carbon dioxide partial pressure ( p = 0.03). Conclusions Our experience supports postoperative whenever problem is present. procedure effective, safe, easy perform.
