摘要: Abstract Two series of ceria–zirconia mixed oxide samples with wide variation in the composition were synthesized using homogeneous precipitation urea and template-assisted hydrothermal procedures. The characterized by nitrogen physisorption, XRD, SEM, Raman, XPS, UV–vis, FTIR, pyridine-FTIR TPR techniques. catalytic activity ethyl acetate total oxidation as a representative VOCs was tested. effect preparation procedure on texture, structure, morphology, acidic redox properties discussed details close relation oxides possibilities for fine tuning their activity. As compared to procedure, treatment provides more insertion Zr ions within cubic ceria lattice even at high content. result higher degree distortion lattice, creation Ce 3+ oxygen vacancies an increase both Lewis acidity ability is observed these are not affected presence template during synthesis. differences surface materials probably promote realization process various reaction pathways thus influence complex way selectivity.
