摘要: ABSTRACTHandMade in America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of craft heritage, identified tourism as an economic development strategy for their service area, North Carolina Appalachian Mountains. In 1996, HandMade released guidebook, The Craft Heritage Trails Western Carolina, which was designed draw visitors rural mountain communities where they could discover artists among surroundings inspiration. book updated two subsequent additions, and spin-off Farms, Gardens, Countryside 2002.
