摘要: The Southern California Earthquake Center Geologic Vertical Motion Database (VMDB) integrates disparate sources of geologic uplift and subsidence data at 104- to 106-year time scales into a single resource for investigations crustal deformation in southern California. Over 1800 vertical rate points northern Baja populate the database. Four mature sets are now represented: marine terraces, incised river thermochronologic ages, stratigraphic surfaces. An innovative architecture interface VMDB exposes distinct reference frames, permitting user exploration this complex set allowing control over assumptions applied convert geochronologic information absolute rates. Online download tools available through all common web browsers, distribution motion results as HTML tables, tab-delimited GIS-compatible text files, or via map Google Maps™ service. represents product research fault activity elastic
