摘要: In order to characterize the essential oils of leaves and inflorescences, water distilled volatile hydroponically grown Ocimum basilicum L. were analyzed by GC/EI-MS. Fifty components identified in inflorescence leaf basil plants, accounting for 98.8 99.9 % total quantified respectively. Phenylpropanoids (37.7 vs. 58.3 leaves) predominant class oil cons- tituents, followed sesquiterpenes (33.3 19.4 %) monoterpenes (27.7 22.1 %). Of monoterpenoid compounds, oxygenated (25.2 18.9 main subclass. Sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (25 15.9 subclass sesquiterpenoidal compounds. Methyl cha- vicol, a phenylpropane derivative, (37.2 56.7 was principle com- ponent both organ oils, with up 38 57 Linalool (21.1 13.1 second common major component α- cadinol (6.1 3 %), germacrene D 2.7 1,8-cineole (2.4 3.5 There significant quantitative but very small qualitative differences between two oils. total, considering previous reports, it seems that composition O. had constituents comparable field counterparts, probably potential applicability pharmaceutical food industries.
