摘要: Eurytemora americana and Acartia tonsa are the two most important copepods from Bahia Blanca estuary plankton. For this study, 30 females were selected recently preserved samples. Prosome length (PL), width (PW) height (PH), urosome (UL) (UW) measured in each female subsequently following ratios PL/PW, PL/PH, PW/PH PL/UL determined. Individual volumes for E. A. estimated morphometric method order to obtain individual biomass values. Regression tests conducted both species between volume prosome or as independent variables, fitting data a power model. lines compared through covariance analysis single pair comparisons evaluate temporal behavior of relationships. was best ratio separating one other. Average std. error 0.0749 (±0.0097) mm3 0.0399 (±0.0049) mm3, respectively. Strong differences variable rate values observed. A size decrease detected associated with higher temperatures less phytoplankton available food. According R2 regression good predictors on different dates americana, however, predictor majority tonsa. Differences slopes mean variances found demonstrated seasonal variability. General equations PL PW could be derived.
