摘要: OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between visual inattention and daily life performance in people with Alzheimer’s disease. METHODS. Twenty persons disease (Mini Mental Status Exam [MMSE] > 20) 21 community dwelling (MMSE >26) voluntarily participated study. One line bisection test two cancellation tests were used for testing attention abilities. Functional Spatial Abilities Questionnaire (FSAQ), Disability Assessment Dementia (DAD), behavioral subtests Behavioral Inattention Test (BIT) assess functioning. presence visuospatial neglect determined by comparing on three control group. RESULTS. People who omitted more targets symbol showed deficits BIT (p = .02). They also less systematic searching strategies .001), spent time looking made commission errors .007) than controls test. However, those had did not differ from without FSAQ, DAD, most subtests. CONCLUSION. have problems; however, interfere their activities as measured Further research focusing function progresses is suggested.
