摘要: Abstract The outflow and spreading of the Vistula River plume in Gulf Gdansk was observed February/March 2001 2002, during peak flow period with 1000–3000 m 3 s − 1 fresh water 395 tons NO –N d . Time space scales mixing patterns at two different wind situations were investigated; 2001, southerly winds prevailed river front showed a strong meandering pattern formation detached eddy. In eddy 293 are transported up to 40 km offshore, while eddy's lifetime did not exceed 1 week. south-westerly predominated that forced along shore towards east. coast 5.5 times larger volume had 18 more (5390 tons). physicochemical parameters, nutrients, dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), δ 15 N–NO − , 13 C-DIC, N particulate organic nitrogen (PON) used analyse thus anthropogenic influence on coastal system. Minor deviations from conservative found for N-PON, PON; they attributed elevated primary production rates due slightly stronger stratification column Nitrification riverine NH 4 + assumed lower values 2002 coast. A significant removal nutrients also between station 32 upstream mouth. This study overall suggests half or nitrate is lost downstream other mainly eastward prevailing south west. load may affect areas less open Baltic Sea.
