摘要: ABSTRACT We examined the relations of larval fish abundance to different aquatic plant densities in a backwater cove Aliceville Lake, reservoir on Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, located Alabama-Mississippi border. tested hypothesis that intermediate enhance density. Larval were sampled using modified Quatrefoil light traps. also quantified percentage coverage. catch-per-unit-effort, species richness, and diversity higher at coverage than lower or levels coverage, emphasizing importance this level for early life stages fish.
