摘要: BACKGROUND Worldwide coverage of hepatitis B (HB) vaccination is increasing. This should be considered when determining the best strategy for catch-up HB in migrant children, who rarely have written proof past immunizations. study aimed to estimate vaccine protection, chronic prevalence and identify determinants protection. METHODS Newly arrived children at Lausanne University Hospital from October 2014 July 2017 were prospectively enrolled. Children adolescents aged 1-18 years approached inclusion if they had no vaccinations accepted a single dose injected vaccine. surface antibody (anti-HBs) serology was performed after 4-6 weeks. Anti-HBs ≥100 IU/L consistent with booster-type response. Patients anti-HBs <100 IU/L received additional dose(s) vaccine, exclusion <10 IU/L. Potential response compared between without RESULTS Two hundred available analysis. Median age 8.9 years (IQR 4.8-12.9), 97 (49%) female. The majority (n = 124, 62%) came region classified by WHO as eastern Mediterranean. One sixty-one (81%) Only 1 patient (<1%) HB. In multivariate analysis, younger (OR per decreasing-year, 1.28; 95%CI, 1.05-1.57; p = 0.017) migration an urban area 1.16; 1.01-1.33; p = 0.043) only significant CONCLUSION Post-vaccine may used high proportion individuals our pediatric population previous immunization Our also showed extremely low No variable could definitively determine results serology. represents most effective this context coverage.
