摘要: Orthostatic hypotension (OH) is an abnormal blood pressure response to standing, which associated with increased risk of adverse outcomes such as syncope, falls, cognitive impairment, and mortality. Medical therapy one the most common causes OH, since numerous cardiovascular psychoactive medications may interfere leading drug-related OH. Additionally, hypotensive frequently overlap other OH factors (e.g., advanced age, neurogenic autonomic dysfunction, comorbidities), thus increasing symptoms complications. Consequently, a medication review recommended first-line approach in diagnostic therapeutic work-up view minimizing orthostatic impairment. If persist after medications, despite adherence non-pharmacological interventions, specific drug treatment for can be considered. In this narrative we present overview drugs acting on central nervous system that potentially impair provide practical suggestions helpful guide medical optimization patients addition, summarize available strategies persistent interventions.
