摘要: Abstract Tourist was originally described as a 128-bp insertion mutation in the maize wx-B2 allele. Subsequent analysis revealed that Tourist elements are introns or flanking sequences of 11 genes and single barley gene. In this study we report frequently associated with wild-type two other grasses, rice sorghum. Six 35 5 8 sorghum complete gene reported to date contain elements. Furthermore, additional have been found elements, bringing current total 23. Sequence comparison has led identification four subfamilies, designated A-D. Evidence is presented for recent mobility three these subfamilies grass species. These data suggest highly repetitive genomes some perhaps all members grasses.
