Re‐engineering business processes through application service providers: Challenges, issues and complexities

摘要: The quest for service excellence and competitive edge by firms result in the constant search effective process information systems management methods. recent emergence of application provision (ASP) business model has promised remote‐access to industry robust processes “best breed” enterprise applications on a rental basis. This paper examines how ASP facilitates improvements through management. is pursued review relevant literature empirical evidence gathered from case study‐based investigation six UK. By examining features remote outsourcing context management, this outlines can improve their IT performance. Findings are used substantiate arguments suggest areas future research.
