摘要: Abstract Single crystals of garnets (Gd 3 Ga 5 O 12 and Y Al ) have been grown by the Czochralski technique. Crystals 10 mm 4 cm long can be easily from iridium crucibles. Laser action has observed in Gd 2.88 Nd 0.12 at 1.0632 μ. These lasers exhibit very low threshold beam divergence.
