摘要: The field of coastal geographical information systems (GIS) has matured, in parallel with more general advances spatial technologies, to a stage where there is now growing urgency examine the issue quality regarding developed applications. Although GIS been recognised as an important for almost two decades (Chrisman, 1982; Blakemore, 1983; Burrough, 1986; Aronoff, 1989; Goodchild and Gopal, Guptill Morrison, 1995), it nonetheless claimed by von Meyer et al. (1999) that, “until recently, people involved developing using digital data paid little attention problems caused error, inaccuracy, precision sets”; they cite evidence number influential standard text books on GIS, (Tomlin, 1990; Star Estes, Clarke, 1990) which, suggest, authors “barely mention issue” quality.
