摘要: Lepisosteus osseus possesses high titres of natural agglutinins to human group A (HuA) erythrocytes and Salmonella typhosa `O' (STO) antigens. Moderate haemagglutinin sheep red blood cells (SRBC) were noted. Cold agglutinin (4°) exceeded recorded at 25°. Immunization with STO antigen resulted in a marked increase corresponding anti-STO agglutinins, as well increases anti-HuA anti-SRBC agglutinins. Animals immunized SRBC produced elevated titres, while immunization HuA no changes levels. Immunization following previous injections Absorption studies indicated that not cross reactive against Natural immune antibodies all the same macromolecular class. Rises antibody reflected both cold warm maintained for long periods low temperatures exhibited preferential ability increased synthesis HuA. Natural haemolytic measured by an indicator system, also compared mammalian systems. These stimulation SRBC. Results suggest levels activity this species are immunogenic origin.
