摘要: Purpose: miR21, miR146, and miR155 represent a trio of microRNAs which has been shown to play key role in the regulation immune inflammatory responses. In present study, we investigated differential expression clinical significance these three miRNAs glioneuronal tumors (gangliogliomas, GGs) are characterized by prominent activation innate response. Methods: The levels were evaluated using Taqman PCR 34 GGs, including 15 cases with sufficient amount perilesional cortex. Their was correlated tumor features history epilepsy. addition, situ hybridization used evaluate their cellular distribution both peritumoral Results: Increased miR146a observed cortex compared control samples. detected neuronal astroglial cells. Tumor negatively frequency seizures density activated microglial Neuronal for miR21 increased within region. Negative correlations between miRNA putative targets component tumor. Conclusion: We report miRNAs, known be related inflammation, patients GG. Moreover, our findings suggest functional relationship epilepsy, either directly epileptogenesis or as modulation seizure activity.
