摘要: The transient oscillatory variation of geomagnetic field after a sudden impulse which occurred at 17h48m UT on February 9, 1986 is examined. predominant the morning high latitudes but also detected in low with nearly same periods about 180 seconds. A geostationary satellite, GOES 6, located near local noon recorded recurrent magnetopause crossings correspond well to pulses Kakioka. It shown that variations are correlated time derivative horizontal component (DH) Considering meaning Kakioka's DH, it discussed early auroral region may be caused by both line oscillation and successive appearances decays global scale equivalent current systems due magnetospheric compressions, while those other times probably latter.
