摘要: Gecko (Gekko japonicus) extracts have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for many years. It has proven that the gecko polypeptide mixture (GPM) extracted from can inhibit growth of multiple types tumor cells. In order to investigate possible anti-tumor molecular mechanisms GPM, we RNA-seq technology identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) HepG2 cells treated with or without GPM. MTT assay was detect viability DAPI fluorescence staining performed observe morphological changes nuclei Western blot analysis applied expressions apoptosis-related and endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS)-related proteins Flow cytometry apoptosis reactive oxygen species (ROS) Our results showed GPM inhibited proliferation induced suggested ER-nucleus signaling pathway involved anti-cancer mechanism Therefore, may induce via ERs pathway.
