摘要: The changes made to the curricula and assessment systems in UK have resulted pathology specialty-training programmes which assess trainees on a regular (weekly or monthly) basis. An end of first year tests their aptitude for specialty, FRCPath examinations taking place after at least one two (part 1) three four 2) years training respectively, multi-source feedback is undertaken 1, 3 5. With educational appraisal, this constitutes cohorts well-assessed supported trainees. assessments are blueprinted curriculum, ensuring adequate coverage curriculum content within workplace-based (WPBA), objective structured examinations. Notably, generic non-clinical attributes behavioural skills such as leadership management can be covered WPBA. Many these evolutionary nature, but some been imposed by continuously increasing regulatory requirements. Whilst additional information generated, increased amount has led complaints that do not acquire enough practical experience laboratory.
