摘要: An indicator analyser has been developed capable of statistical analysis from pressure data each cylinder a multi–cylinder engine under steady state conditions by an on–line mini–computer. This is able to acquire transient as well and perform interlocutory analyses any specified combustion cycle utilizing off–line large computer. Analysis on the causes cycle–by–cycle variation made simple relationship derived therefrom such that variance indicated mean effective may be broken down into three terms variances released heat change internal energy their co–variance. Experiments revealed manifests some characteristics related fuel supply system pattern in cylinder, but interpretation physical significance co–variance term remains solved. method found useful one for analysing its improvement actual engines.
