摘要: Abstract Measurements of the acoustic emission behaviour A533B and CMn low alloy reactor pressure vessel steels subjected to uniaxial tensile deformation are described. The effects on activity rolling plane orientation carbide morphology were examined. Detailed discussions given stress dependence below yield its recovery by annealing at relief temperature. It is shown that dominant source same in both associated with inclusions, such as MnS, elongated process, being relatively unimportant. A criterion for occurence an obtained which directly analogous general yielding. also a large fraction, least, arises from recoverable process localized yielding around inclusions or limited inclusion decohesion not fracture. Low steel taken vessels, previously attributed spheroidization carbides, be due these high sulphur content when annealed Finally it concluded amplitudes emissions during severely restrict their potential application practice.
