摘要: SummaryBiochemical confirmation of the identity Burkholderia pseudomallei in Singapore previously relied on API 20NE panel tests. After introducing an alternative proprietary biochemical panel, Microbact 24E (MedVet, Adelaide, Australia), we noted that identified some presumptive B. isolates as other species. We therefore compared performance against with 50 distinct clinical pseudomallei, after 24 hours and five days incubation primary cultures. The correctly 40 isolates.
