摘要: Abstract: A common ground is emerging for social and cultural studies of design. Design history exploring the socially constructed networked nature our material surroundings; at same time, STS investigating design as interface between humans technology. This particularly interesting where it intersects with rapidly growing fields environmental humanities. Today, concerns, especially issues sustainability, are essential parameters in all practices. However, this ‘green revolution’ a glaringly white spot on historical map, still awaiting its scholarly historicization.
