摘要: The deviated nose presents a particular challenge to the rhinoplasty surgeon because, frequently, both functional problem (airway obstruction) and an aesthetic must be addressed. An approach is presented that relies on accurate preoperative planning precise intraoperative execution of corrective measures return nasal dorsum midline, restore dorsal lines, maintain airway patency. principles correction include wide exposure through open approach, release all deforming forces septum, straightening septum while maintaining adequate caudal strut, restoring long-term support, reducing hypertrophied turbinates, performing controlled stable percutaneous osteotomies. operative algorithm described emphasizes simplicity reproducibility, case studies demonstrate results can achieved with this approach.
