摘要: This paper provides a brief history and appraisal of development planning in Egypt with emphasis on activities since the War 1973 infusion foreign, largely Arab Western supported, technical assistance. More than 100 major plans studies prepared period 1973–85 covered entire country. These varied from very inclusive regional to designs construction detail for new communities scaled at half million persons each.
