摘要: In this paper we analyze variability over time in wind energy, focusing primarily on intra-hour variations. We model the duration dependency and other conditional aspects of variability. both frequency domains relate analysis with empirical probability distributions using historical power from Bonneville Power Authority. Distribution fitting in-tra-hour was done, considering normal, Laplace skew-Laplace distributions. found that is skewed peaky indicating are superior to density functions describe intervals less than an hour. The domain interpretation spectral estimates indicate for 30 minutes 1 hour fluctuation can be quite considerable. discuss results our relation its potential short-term system operations implications high penetration.
