摘要: Robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy is a surgical procedure performed to eradicate prostate cancer. Use of robotic assistance technology allows smaller incisions than the traditional approach and results in better patient outcomes, such as less blood loss, pain, shorter hospital stays, postoperative potency continence rates. This creates unique challenges positioning for perioperative team because placed lithotomy with steep Trendelenburg position. Incorrect can lead nerve damage, pressure ulcers, other complications.
