摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter explains immunocytochemistry of regulatory peptides. Several histological stains have been used for the separate demonstration endocrine cells and nerves. Some these become quite popular because their simplicity satisfying results. However, not all or neural cell types can be readily demonstrated simultaneous staining both components diffuse neuroendocrine system has achieved. Immunocytochemistry peptides played a key role in individual this system, lacking, consequence, ability to demonstrate it its entirety. More than 15 found present brain, frequently systems bodies, many which projects other brain areas newly recognized peptidergic pathways. Far from being local curiosity certain peptide-containing neurons are as widely distributed those containing classical neurotransmitters, acetylcholine noradrenalin.
