摘要: Bushfire risk communication and education are the primary mechanisms used by emergency managers to increase resilience recovery from bushfires. Generally these agencies utilise mass techniques provide targeted standardised information at-risk members of community. These unable accommodate variability between communities, particularly situational characteristics community resulting context in which messages interpreted those communities. This observational study, carried out after a severe bushfire on east coast Tasmania, revealed how influence preparedness, agency trust, sense results suggest it is necessary couple with engagement overcome characteristics, thereby encouraging collective ensuring correct interpretation messages, engendering confidence trust organisations that communicate information.
